HOW CAN YOU USE FATIGPRO TECHNOLOGY IN YOUR PRODUCTS?
FatigPro is the patented intellectual property of FatigPro Sensor Ltd. We formed FatigPro company so that we manufacture and license our sensors to make the world a safer and better place.
FatigPro is not “one-size-fits-all’ product. It needs to be customized for the particular application at hand. There are a vast number of applications of FatigPro from aviation to the railroad, maritime to satellite, from wind turbines to offshore structures, amusement park rides to escalators. (Please see our downloads section for possible applications of FatigPro.)
Since each application is different, we need to work with our client to adapt the sensor to the application. Upon receiving an upfront NRE fee, we study your application, visit your production line, meet your designers, meet your maintenance experts, fatigue consultants and customize the FatigPro for your application. Upon engineering study we may suggest;
- The locations and size of the FatigPro sensors,
- The number of FatigPro sensors to be used in each component,
- The number of fingers inside each FatigPro sensor,
- The fatigue milestone of each fingers inside FatigPro for best predictive maintenance scenario,
- Data transmission technology of the FatigPro sensor, (Sigfox, RFID, Lora etc.)
- Data collection methodology (How to collect the data automatically)
After the study, we can manufacture the sensor from the same kind of material as your structural member. This is essential for true fatigue life monitoring.
After this, we deliver our customers a dozen customized FatigPro sensors which can be tested in their test rigs (or by an independent tester). If you are satisfied with the test results, we can develop a delivery plan and license the product to you so that you can enjoy the protection of FatigPro. You can proudly display our logo on your product upon the license agreement. Think about the added value of your product which is now a “smart product”.
FatigPro can be applied to metal and composite structures. But composite applications may require more engineering time and may take longer time.
Unlike other predictive maintenance approaches which require an expert to interpret the data, our sensors speak the plain language. They tell you when they are “tired” in a progressive fashion which is easy to understand.
